Smart rings are becoming increasingly popular now, with the top Brand Oura, leading the way.
I wanted to check out a much cheaper version, does it do the same thing? What's the difference? Let's find out.
The Health Check Smart Ring now available from Amazon for just £13.17, packs a lot of features:
Features
It can monitor your blood pressure, heartbeats per minute, your o2 levels and your sleep pattern. You can set up the Ring to take regular readings, such as every half an hour or every two hours.
Steps, calories burnt and miles are just more features for the Ring. You can set workout timers also.
Set up
The Smart Ring comes in a sturdy box. Inside, you'll find the ring, instruction manual, and charger. The Ring looks modern and clean. It feels smooth and durable.
The Ring will connect to your app via Bluetooth.
There will be a QR code to scan in the manual to download the correct app on your phone. You start on the app by entering your height, weight, gender and your age. The app is also user friendly, with extras like posts on blood glucose, temperature and respiration rate to read.
Any additional features
Made from stainless steel, it is fully waterproof. There are 3 colours available, all at different prices. Currently available in silver, gold or black. It takes up to 30 minutes for it to be fully charged.
The app even features a friend and family addition, wherein you can track each other's daily exercise data and sleep patterns, a way of providing care for them.
You can check what percentage of charge your Ring has on the app too.

While you are sleeping
The Ring automatically knows that you are asleep and the readings will continue throughout that period.
In the morning you can check out your stats. You can view your readings either by day, by week or month.
What's the difference?
Bearing in mind I have only been reading up on the Oura but never worn one, I can not see that the Oura does anything different.
Below is a link to a review from an Oura customer:

As you will read, there is also a membership fee required for getting the most out of your Oura, there is no membership necessary with the Smart Health ring.
The Oura is made from Titanium, whereas the Smart Ring is stainless steel.

My summing up
This Ring is great, it shows me everything I wanted to know plus more. It is comfortable to wear and I really like the app with its easy readings.
Very good value for money and no membership costs either.
There is nothing I dislike.
Would you buy the Ring?
Do you count your daily steps?
Thank you for reading as always,
Love J x
